The Woman
Behind the Flowers

Eloise Loveridge-Meates · Founder & Creative Director

Bloomify began not with a business plan, but with a quiet need to make something beautiful.

Creative Director

In 2020, I enrolled in a floristry course alongside a corporate career — not as a strategy, but as a creative outlet. A way to work with my hands. To make something that felt alive. My husband gave the studio its name, and together we began something neither of us could quite see the shape of yet.

Then came a first pregnancy. Then COVID. The final weeks of my floristry course were cancelled. The world paused. And yet, even through lockdown, I was making bouquets — because some people still needed beauty, and I needed to make it.

"Some people still needed beauty — and I needed to make it."

The real turning point came in 2022. Pregnant with my second child, and facing the prospect of returning to a corporate career that no longer felt like mine, I made a decision: I would build Bloomify into something that could sustain us. I trained in luxury floristry and event design — going deeper into the business of beautiful weddings, the architecture of atmosphere, the craft of large-scale installation work.

In March 2023, we opened a studio. We grew. We took on weddings and workshops and events. And through it all, I was learning what kind of florist I truly was — not a production line, not a stylist who executes a brief — but a creative director of atmosphere, someone who needs to understand a couple's whole day before she touches a single stem.

In June 2024, my third daughter was born. Three weeks before her arrival, I was still styling weddings. Three days before her birth, I was still working. I went into labour overnight — and came back the next morning to finish the job.

That probably tells you everything you need to know about how much this work means to me.

In September 2024, I closed the studio and made another decision: to work from home, to take on fewer weddings, to give every couple the full depth of my attention. To do less, but do it better. To be present for my children — and to pour everything I have into the couples who trust me with their most important day.

That is not a compromise. It is exactly how it should be.

The Work — What Makes Bloomify Different

My aesthetic is shaped by the things I love most: travel, antiques, the Dutch Masters, the way old houses hold their history. I am drawn to richness and depth — jewel tones, garden abundance, texture that rewards a closer look. What I create is not minimalist. It is not stark white. It is lush and considered and alive.

I work with premium, seasonal blooms — often sourced from trusted British growers — arranged entirely by hand, in vessels chosen for the flowers they will hold. I style alongside candles and linens and every element that contributes to how a room feels when the doors open.

I do not take on more than twenty weddings a year. I visit every venue in person. I ask questions other florists do not think to ask. And I stay until the very last detail is right.

Every Bloomify wedding is made by my hands. That will never change.

What to Expect — Working With Eloise

When you work with Bloomify, you will feel held — guided by someone who genuinely cares about getting this right, and who brings both creative authority and complete calm to the process.

I will ask you about your day in detail — not just the flowers, but the whole shape of it. The welcome drink, the dinner, the dancing. The way you want the room to feel at each moment. I will visit your venue with you. I will find the places where flowers will matter most — and a few places you had not thought of yet.

I work best with couples who give me their colour palette and trust me with the rest. Who want to be surprised. Who understand that the most beautiful weddings happen when a florist is given room to create, not just execute.

If that is you — I cannot wait to hear about your day.
